Abandoned by God and faced with a new, harsh world, Eve must quickly learn the rules of her new home and protect her family from a drought ravaged Georgia. Meanwhile, a young and principled Washington D.C. audio producer, Olive, must confront her money-driven industry without compromising her values. Drawn together across space and time, the two women find themselves pitted against a hurricane that threatens both of their lives. Amidst the danger of the impending disaster, Olive and Eve grapple with the fallout of their caustic idealism.
